Warranty
All models produced and marketed by SOFABLE SRL are accompanied by the relevant tax invoice, the date of which is authentic for the duration of the guarantee. For private buyers (so-called consumers), the guarantee has a duration of 24 months and applies to defects in conformity, pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code), while for buyers holding a VAT number it is a 12 month guarantee is provided pursuant to the Civil Code.
The barrel is guaranteed for 20 years against manufacturing defects.
The guarantee applies to products that present defects of conformity provided that they are used correctly, according to their intended use and in compliance with the maintenance instructions. In the event that the purchased products are found to be non-compliant, the Buyer is required to formally contest the lack of conformity in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code / the Civil Code (depending on the aforementioned type of Buyers) by attaching the relevant documentation photographic.

Product categories and warranty duration
Upholstered seats
(Sofas, armchairs, chaise longues, poufs)
- Wooden frame and structural parts : 20 years
- Internal padding : 5 years
- Fabric or leather upholstery : 5 years
(excluding natural discoloration, wear from friction, exposure to direct light or heat sources, improper washing) - Reclining, sliding mechanisms, adjustable headrests, movable backrests : 2 years
Furnishing accessories
(Tables, chairs, containers, sideboards, consoles)
General warranty : 2 years, unless otherwise specifically indicated on the product
Electrical products and lighting
(Lamps, LED lights, sockets, integrated systems)
Electrical and electronic components : 2 years (any defects will be handled with repair, replacement of the component or product, at Sofable's discretion)
Accessories and textile products
(Decorative cushions, rugs, throws, curtains)
General conformity guarantee : 2 years (excluding natural wear and tear or wear caused by improper washing)
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Damage resulting from improper use, neglect or failure to follow maintenance instructions
- Accidental damage (bumps, falls, spilled liquids, scratches, breakages)
- Aesthetic alterations due to natural wear and tear over time
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorized parties
- Exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions (humidity, direct sunlight, heat sources, atmospheric agents)
How to report a defect
To activate the warranty intervention, the customer is required to:
- Send a report via email to assistenzaclienti@sofable.com
- Attach detailed photos of the defect found
- Please indicate the invoice number or purchase receipt
- Provide a brief description of your product usage and the problem you encountered.
Our customer service will evaluate the request within 5 working days and will communicate the possible intervention procedure.
Conditions of intervention
- The warranty covers the free repair or replacement of the defective part
- If the request is accepted, Sofable will cover the collection and return costs.
- If the defect is not covered, the customer will receive a quote for any repairs subject to charges.
