"How long will it last?"
This is by far one of the questions we are asked most often by our customers and to which, without much hesitation, we answer that the quality of the internal structure of our sofas is guaranteed for 30 years.
And the reason for this answer is that we know our sofas and above all the materials we use to build them: the most important part of a sofa, the one that ensures perfect stability and determines the "life" of the sofa is in fact its internal structure .
The long life of a sofa depends on its construction elements (in particular the FRAME) and from quality of materials used inside: the supporting structure of all our sofas is built with top quality materials, which respond to the different consumer needs and which at the same time respect the environment .
The stem of each of our sofas is made with a thick wooden structure to ensure its durability maximum solidity ; in most cases, the wood used by our craftsmen is Austrian plywood fir.
Only the infill sides are made of class E1 wood agglomerate with low formaldehyde emission or plywood.
Each of these materials has particular characteristics capacity, flexibility and lightness, which when combined appropriately, form extremely resistant stems.
A solid wood or plywood frame allows you to give greater strength to the structure by allowing you to rebuild the padding several times: a high quality sofa, even if apparently ruined, can have a second life simply with a new upholstery or padding.
On the contrary, a sofa that appears nice but is internally constructed using poor quality materials such as chipboard, low-resilience collapsible rubber and low-cost fabrics will become obsolete after just a few years and will need to be replaced with a new one very often: in some cases the cycle of life is reduced just 2 years old ...so much for ecology and sustainability!
